5.8.11: Fort Cornwallis Penang

We paid a visit to Fort Cornwallis in Penang. I parked the car by the roadside. They used parking meters over here. Entrance fees: RM2 per adult. The boys got in free.

Statue of Sir Francis Light, founder of Penang

Captain Francis Light (1740 - 25 Oct 1794) was the founder of the British colony of Penang (in modern-day Malaysia) and its capital George Town in 1786.
