I brought along some large mahjong papers for the kids to draw outdoors. We had to keep a watchful eye on the large red ants which kept reappearing after we swept them away.

I tried putting a blob of mosquito repellent cream, but it had not much effect on the ants. They were curious and went ahead to sniff it, and the first one actually jumped back in shock!
