We were briefed and shown the place by Datuk Eadon Ching, the founder of Pertubuhan Amal Seri Sinar. We were not allowed to take photographs inside the centre, for confidentiality reasons. There were a mountain of clothing, furniture, books, bicycles, all grouped in different locations. We saw a large pile of Enid Blyton hardcover books, all tied and stacked up. At least we are assured that good books discarded to them are not turned into pulp.
