hile waiting for the family day event to be over, the boys did an adaptation of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" book by Eric Carle.

A little egg lay on a leaf. |
One day the warm sun came up and pop, out of the egg came a tiny and very hungry caterpillar.

One Monday, it ate one green leaf. |
 |
On Tuesday, it ate 2 tiny coconuts |
 |
On Wednesday, it ate 3 twigs. |
 |
On Thursday, it ate 4 pieces of leaves |
 |
Then, it built a cocoon around itself. |
 |
After 2 weeks, it nibbled a hole through the cocoon and out came a beautiful butterfly! |
