3.5.11: National Art Gallery

We went to the National Art Gallery with a group of HS friends to see the exhibition on Kasihnya Ibu (Mother's Love).
This kolam was displayed outside at the main entrance. Can you see the elephant there?
We walked and walked and walked (a spiral pathway) all the way to the top floor where the exhibition was.

We saw this large brush jacket displayed on the wall. It was made from plastic (toilet bowl) brushes and coconut husk brushes and galvanized and steel wire. Interesting!

Photos of mothers and child(ren) depicting a mother's love

The children were attracted to this construction. I wonder why.
After that, the coordinator there gave us art paper, board and colour pencils and told the children to draw their mother. S decided to draw a car.
