4.4.11: Visit to Pusat Sains Negara

We visited the National Science Centre once again to meet up with some friends and let our kids play at the outdoor playground. The traffic jam to get here was horrible, and more so, since it was a Monday. It took me more than an hour to reach the science centre, and I arrived at around 9.00 am.

We spent more time outdoors, but the sun was quite strong already, at 9.45 am.

The water doesn't seem to be clean.
After that, we went to the aquarium area which was near the herb garden. There were many tanks there with fishes as well as some terrapins too.
There's a cute little fish inside this cylinder pipe. At first, I wasn't sure if it was a fish or just an inanimate object. It looks like a hamster.

After that, I visited the resource centre (library) once again to look at the books. I decided to join in the PSN Club in to get membership to the resource centre. Membership is RM60 per year for a family of 4. Each person is allowed to borrow 3 books each for a period of 3 weeks. They have quite a good section of children's books, mainly on science themes as well as a section on dinosaur books. Their books are quite new too. PSN also participates in the ASTC passport program, in which members have free admission to participating science centres or museums in other countries.
