16.6.11: Melted wax crayon art

Today the boys did this melted wax crayon art. It was simple and quick and you can recycle those little crayon bits and pieces that are lying around the house.  

Items required:

• Drawing block
• Wax crayons
• Sharpener
• Iron

Step 1: Shave the wax crayons with a sharpener

Step 2: Spread the shavings out on the paper

Step 3: Fold the paper

Step 4: Iron the paper. 

Step 5: Open it and you have a nicely decorated paper.

I think this is a good idea to use to make wrapping paper.
