I have a book binding machine at home as I conduct workshops and would prepare manuals for the workshop. E indirectly observed me using it. One day, when I wasn't looking, he inserted a paper into the book binding machine and punched holes with it. I was quite surprised that he could do it by himself.
I soon got him to help out with actually binding books. I'd feed in the paper and he'd punch the holes. The challenging part for me and him is to put the papers into the ring come, as he keeps pushing the lever up and down whereas it needs to be kept steady.
